A seven-year-old boy who reviews toys has topped a list of the highest-earning YouTube stars after making £17.2 million ($A29.8 million).
Ryan, from Ryan ToysReview, made the hefty sum for his online reviews between June 2017 and June 2018. In other words, his Tickle Me Elmo is laughing all the way to the bank.
So, next time a teacher confiscates a fidget spinner, they could potentially be damaging that child’s future earning potential.
With all of Ryan’s extra dough, it’s safe to say he’ll be spending his earnings on toys, or maybe a real-life Barbie dream house.
Since launching his main channel in 2015, Ryan and his family's antics have amassed more than 17 million followers and close to 26 billion views.
Online sensation Jake Paul was second on Forbes' list, with £16.8 million ($A29 million). His content of vlogs, raps and general YouTube drama were viewed more than 3.5 billion times over the 12-month period.
Trick shot aficionados Dude Perfect made £15.7 million ($A27.2 million) and Daniel Middleton, who specialises in the popular video game Minecraft, was fourth with £14.5 million ($A25.1 million).
The British gamer has been playing the sandbox game on camera for several years and also has a line of merchandise.
