ScoMo’s Old Phone No. Reportedly Delivers Text Barrage To 16 Year Old Girl

Teenager chooses not to leak, showing more responsibility than most MPs

If you’ve got an old phone number for the new Prime Minister that you thought might come in handy to call in some top-level favours, think again.

Your message might be going direct to a 16-year-old girl.

And she almost does not have the power to deliver on your Prime Ministerial dream requests.

Twitter user Andrew Plastow tweeted ABC journalist Annabel Crabb this delightful little tease:

Although requests came from journalists asking for the messages to be released, Andrew suggested that the girl in question would be remaining tight-lipped.

Labor’s MP for Lyons, Brian Mitchell, was even willing to open his wallet… or at least a friend’s.

But despite the promise of fame and fortune, as of yet, to the best of our knowledge, the texts remain unleaked.

Clearly this girl has no future in politics, if our leaky bucket of a Parliament House is any guide. But new Prime Minister Morrison might want to be careful about which of his policies are going to negatively impact 16 year olds.

Of course ScoMo has had a long and winding path to The Lodge, including stints heading up tourism organisations in both New Zealand and Australia, where he approved the controversial Lara Bingle “So where the bloody hell are you?” campaign.

And if Lara is holding on to his number from those days, the first question she might want to text is “So who the bloody hell are you?”
