Australian horse Vow And Declare has won a thrilling 2019 Lexus Melbourne Cup

The winner was trained by Melbourne trainer Danny O'Brien and ridden by Craig Williams, who has finally won a Melbourne Cup after so many years of trying.

Master of Reality finished second, while Prince Of Arran finished third for the second year in a row.

Lexus Melbourne Cup Day: Tuesday, 5 November

This absolutely huge day kicked off bright and early with Birdcage arrivals from 10 am followed by all the Lexus Melbourne Cup Day races. In the evening, catch 10 News first at 5.30 pm and The Project at 6.30 pm live from Flemington.

Kennedy Oaks Day: Thursday, 7 November 

Studio 10 will be live from Flemington again on Wednesday, 6 November and then back at the next day for Oaks at 8.30 am. The Birdcage arrivals will be broadcast from 12 noon with live coverage of Kennedy Oaks Day from 1 pm and then The Project live from Flemington at 6.30 pm.
