Alleged Serial ‘Up-Skirter’ Arrested In Sydney
An alleged serial “up-skirter” has been arrested following a complaint by a 58-year-old woman in a supermarket in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs.
The woman told police she was in the Krinsky Kosher Supermarket on Bondi Road, Bondi where she says a man approached her from behind and used a mobile phone to film up her dress.
After investigation officers arrested 18-year-old Kenneth Belda on Friday at an address on Oxford Street Woollahra.
A mobile phone was seized and police say on inspection they discovered numerous videos on that phone of “up-skirting" offences against eight unknown victims.
They also found a small amount of cannabis at the address.
Belda was taken to Waverley Police Station and charged with five counts of filming a person’s private parts without consent, 9 counts of intentionally record an intimate image without consent and possess prohibited drug.
10 News First spoke to the alleged 58-year-old victim today who didn’t want to make any comment and says she will leave it to the police.
Belda was granted conditional bail and will face Waverley Court on Tuesday, April 23.
