Live: Trump Won't Go To War But Asks For More International Troops In Middle East

Despite fears on Wednesday of heavy casualties from an Iranian missile strike on an Iraqi military base housing American troops, President Donald Trump said there were no U.S. lives lost.

Concerns about a brewing war in the Middle East are on hold -- at least temporarily -- after Trump moved to cool the immediate situation, saying it appeared Iran was "standing down", and choosing to impose new sanctions rather than order an immediate military retaliation.
