Trump Leaves NATO Early After Trudeau And Other Leaders Filmed Mocking Him

Donald Trump has labelled Justin Trudeau "two-faced" after the Canadian Prime Minister and other world leaders were caught mocking him.

Speaking to media after a meeting at the NATO Summit in London, Trump said that while he likes Trudeau, he also thinks he's not genuine.

"Well he's two-faced," Trump told media on Wednesday.

"And honestly, with Trudeau he's a nice guy, I find him to be a very nice guy but you know the truth is that I called him out on the fact that he's not paying two percent [on defence] and I guess he's not very happy about it."

Trump then announced he'd be leaving the summit early.

The move comes after Justin Trudeau, together with French President Emmanuel Macron, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Princess Anne where filmed apparently laughing at Trump's media appearances.

Johnson asked Macron, "Is that why you were late?" Trudeau responded saying, "He was late because he takes a 40-minute press conference off the top."

The video showed the group laughing as Trudeau discussed the shock he observed on the faces of Trump's team when he announced the G7 Summit would be held at Camp David rather than Trump Resort.

"You just watched his team's jaws drop to the floor," Trudeau said.

Trump and Macron repeatedly clashed during a lengthy joint media conference at the Summit regarding possible US tariffs on France. Macron also called out Trump for apparent false statements about climate change.

Macron also refused to comment on the video showing the leaders laughing and mocking Trump, saying it was filmed without the leader's knowledge and that it was unfair that it was publicly circulated.

Trudeau shrugged off the incident and turned his attention to pressing issues at the Summit. Johnson feigned ignorance, saying, "I really don't know what is being referred to there."
