911 Call Reveals Bizarre Behavior Of Actor's Son Who Killed His Mother
Valerie Lundeen Ely, wife of Tarzan actor Ron Ely, was stabbed to death by the couple's son on Tuesday night.
Police arrived at the property in Santa Barbara, California, and found the body of Valerie, 62, with multiple stab wounds.
Emergency services were called to the property by Cameron Ely, the couple's 30-year-old son.
U.S. website Blast released the emergency dispatch call, revealing the bizarre details Cameron told 911.
According to the emergency dispatcher, the call was made by a young man who said claimed the 'Tarzan' actor had been the person who attacked Valerie.
"He said the father tried to attack the mother... and then hung up," the dispatcher said.
The dispatcher said the male that called was "out of breath, unintelligible and crying".
Later in the call, emergency services tell the dispatcher an "elderly gentleman" said the son was no longer at the property and had driven away.
Cameron was later found by police, and after an unspecified threat, four officers fired at him and he was killed.
It has been revealed Cameron was a Harvard-educated quarterback and was described as "supremely intelligent" by the university's newspaper.
According to the LA Times has been working as a licensed security guard for the past two years.
It is believed Ron Ely, who starred in the NBC Tarzan TV series from 1966 to 1968, was unharmed during the attack.
