The Beer Raising Money For Wildfire Recovery

Breweries across the US are doing their bit to help survivors of the wildfires which devastated northern California last month.

The Resilience Butte County Proud IPA is a limited edition brew, with 100 per cent of its proceeds going towards Camp Fire relief efforts.

Produced by Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, the brew's recipe has been shared with more than 1,000 breweries from across the country, hitting bar taps just in time for Christmas.

The Camp Fire was the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California's history, claiming the lives of at least 85 people and destroying more than 153,000 acres.

Authorities only managed to completely contain the blaze in late November, after it burned out-of-control for more than two-and-a-half weeks.
