Dance Duo Leaves Judges and Audience In Tears With Powerful Message

A dancing duo left the crowd and judges of the "France Has Unbelievable Talent" program in tears, following their powerful performance against domestic violence.
A video of their routine, which has since gone viral globally, has been flooded with comments of support for their performance and the important message it sends.
The couple, Dakota and Nadia, shocked their audience as soon as they appeared on stage with Nadia wearing stage makeup that appeared to resemble bruising on her face and body.
Their dance which depicted a violent and abusive relationship between a man and a woman left the judges speechless and visibly emotional.
Dakota and Nadia received a standing ovation from the crowd with audience while the judges and the couple wiped tears from their eyes.
"What we saw was truly marvelous," judge Marianne James said following the performance, adding that it felt that they were thrown into the dancers' world .
Another judge, Eric Antoine said they were very lucky to have witnessed their performance.
"I think it's really a number that we are going to remember for a very, very long time," Samir Khullar said.
"I think it was so important that there was also a man who shared this message," Hélène Ségara said.
"Not all men are cruel and it's great that you showed men that there is nothing stronger than gentleness."
Their performance has been viewed more than 30 million times and received thousands of comments of support.
Jessie Reyez who performs the song 'Figures' which the couple used for their dance also praised the duo for their routine.
"The first time I watched this I cried," Reyez tweeted.
"The times I've re-watched it, it squeezes my heart."
