Time's New Cover Is Being Hailed A Masterpiece

"Trump wanted a summit with Putin. He got way more than he bargained for."

TIME Magazine has done it again.

On Thursday the weekly magazine released their new cover -- a morphed photo of President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

Titled 'The Summit Crisis', the cover was revealed on Twitter.

"Trump wanted a summit with Putin. He got way more than he bargained for," TIME tweeted.

The magazine said the composite image, by Nancy Burson, was "to represent this particular moment in U.S. foreign policy".

“I wanted to create answers to unasked questions,” Burson said to TIME about the origins of her artistic process,

“Like what would it look like if you put six men and six women together?”

The magazine had clearly listened to the outcry following Trump's support of Putin in his denial of meddling with U.S. elections, the cover

Social media has reacted to the cover, with many calling it 'creepy', but noting it was reality.

This marks the fifth time Trump has been on the cover this year. Just last month the magazine published a powerful cover over the controversial child separation policy at U.S. borders.
