Tinder Launches New 'Festival Mode' For Splendour In The Grass
A cheeky festival hookup is now only a swipe away, thanks to this new feature from the relationship app.
Tinder is launching its brand new 'Festival Mode' for the Splendour In The Grass event in July, which will allow singles to match with others heading to Byron Bay.
It's basically a badge that's slapped on your account to let other festival-goers know you're around -- and keen.
But the news gets better! You can use the badge from as early as June 21, meaning you get time to suss out the talent and plan your meetups before your your tent is even pitched.
“Splendour is a rite of passage for young Australians, making it the perfect playground to launch Festival Mode," Country Manager of Tinder Australia Kristen Hardeman said.
It's not just about hooking up though -- it also means you agree with the festival's 'I Expect Respect' policy, which is dedicated to ensuring all users show respect when chatting.
The feature has been used in the US and the UK before, but this will be the first time it's been used in Australia.
