Watch Chaz Mostert Cruelly End Cam Waters’ Race In Today’s Dumbest Move

It happened again!

In last year’s Bathurst 1000, Chaz Mostert took out teammate David Russell on lap 30 of the Great Race.

Mostert tried to pass, but succeeded only in bumping Russell into the fence. Russell, who was Cameron Waters’ co-driver, was not happy to say the least.

Then this year, it was déjà vu all over again, when Mostert took out Ford teammate Waters at the end of Conrod Strait, with both cars spinning into the sand trap.

“I’m absolutely gutted. No words really,” Waters said from the garage a few minutes after the incident, as mechanics were visibly in tears around him.

“This is shit. I dunno, he’s just made a mistake. I don’t know what to say. The car was fast, we should have been on the podium.”

Both cars were in the top five at the time of the incident.

“It’s a common occurrence between us,” Waters sighed, helmet still on.

“I wouldn’t like to be in the middle of that debrief,” Network 10 head of sport and motor racing guru Matt White told 10 daily of the likely scenes in the garage later today.

Nope. Us either.
