American Commentator Totally Fails To Pronounce European Country

No wonder swimming superstar Kristof Milak is face-palming.

OK, so in the image below, he's probably just wiping water from his eyes after winning the 200m butterfly at the World Swimming Championships in Gwangju, South Korea.

Or maybe he's holding his face in disbelief, having just broken the longstanding world record held by American swimming legend Michael Phelps.

But you know what? It's a whole lot more fun to believe that Milak, 19, simply CANNOT believe the way the U.S. commentator pronounced his home nation of Hungary.

Oh God, did he really just say that? (Photo by Maddie Meyer/Getty Images)

And nobody corrects him. Because they're either too polite to do so, or they know no better.

For anyone still confused...

Anyway, geography lesson over. Go get something to eat, as you're no doubt feeling hungrier having read this far.
