David And Candice Warner Welcome New Baby Girl
David Warner has taken a break from World Cup madness to be by the side of his wife as she gave birth to the couple's third child.
It's been all smiles for Warner in recent days, as the Australian cricketer made his way from Lord's after a victory over New Zealand to welcome a healthy baby girl with wife Candice in a London hospital.
Both beaming parents took to Instagram to share happy snaps of the entire family, now "complete" with the addition of little Isla.
"We welcomed our newest family member Isla Rose Warner at 10.30pm late last night," David wrote on Monday.
"@candywarner1 was absolutely amazing. Mum and Bub doing very well and her big sisters are over the moon."
In a separate post, Candice said big sisters Ivy and Indi are over the moon with the new addition.
"Our little family is now complete. Ivy and Indi are so proud of their sister. @davidwarner31 Your support was and is amazing. Isla we love you. #blessed,” she said.
The bub's arrival could not have been better timed, as Australia takes a seven-day break from World Cup matches.
According to The Australian, the couple had scheduled the birth to allow maximum time in between games, inducing Candice within the week-long gap.
It comes after a difficult past 16 months off the back of the ball-tampering scandal in South Africa last year.
Last month, David revealed shortly after being sent packing from the tour and subsequently suspended from the sport for 12 months, Candice suffered a miscarriage -- the first of two during his suspension.
Now back in the green and gold, David is winning fans back with "runs and realness".
The Warners will now spend three months in England.
