Majak Daw's Touching Baby Announcement Months After Serious Fall

AFL player Majak Daw continues his week of milestones, announcing his partner is pregnant.

Daw has announced he is expecting his first child with partner Emily McKay via a sweet Instagram post.

It is another step on the long road to recovery for the North Melbourne defender, after he fell from the Bolte Bridge in Victoria last December. Daw was hospitalised with serious injuries to his pelvis as a result.

The community and his club rallied around him during the aftermath of his fall, with Daw penning an open letter for his club's website.  At the time he said he had been "blessed with a second chance at life".

Earlier this week, Daw completed his first running session on ground since the incident,  taking a moment to thank "everyone who helped him" tick off the major milestone.

He was cheered on by teammates and support staff as he jogged around the Roos' training ground at Arden Street - with a number of teammates taking to social media to voice support of their teammate.

Whilst he is still some way from returning to the field in the blue and white, all signs seem positive that we will see Daw, perhaps with a new bub in the stands, marking and kicking goals soon.
