Kick Like Tayla: Australian Personalities Give Iconic Photo Their Best Shot

It's an AFLW photo that has already become an iconic image of women's sport, and now Australian personalities are doing their best to recreate it.

The image is, of course, of Carlton star Tayla Harris doing what she does best.

And proving Harris' athleticism is no easy feat, Australian personalities have given the kick their best shot -- and not all with the best results -- to promote the AFLW final this weekend.

10 News First Melbourne's very own Stephen Quartermain joins in on the fun, as well comedian Dave Hughes, Olympic gold medalist Giaan Rooney and Kat Palmer, the CEO of Sport Australia -- to name just a few.

The photo of the Carlton player gained notoriety  after disgusting comments about Harris were made on it, leading to it being deleted from Channel Seven's social feed.

It led to a huge backlash, with mountains of support for Harris and her booming kicking style.

Harris said the trolling made her feel like she had been "sexually abused" and made her uncomfortable.

In an act of support, the AFLW even changed their logo to the iconic image.

Harris will be back in action on Sunday with her Blues, as they take on the Adelaide Crows in the AFLW Grand Final.
