Commentators Go Nuts In Five Languages Over Steph Curry Pass

How do you say "Oooohhhh" in Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, French and Greek?

You say it just like we say it in English, that's how. But with maybe a little more passion.

"Ooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

The NBA All-Star game is more exhibition match than serious contest. You expect more fancy moves than in a regular NBA game, and the 2019 game played yesterday was no different.

All the same, the world has still gone gaga over the Steph Curry bounce pass to Giannis Antetokounmpo -- the Greek player of Nigerian descent known in the NBA as "The Greek Freak" -- which you can watch in the video player above.

This really was a thing of beauty. Normally an alley-oop comes from a high-looping pass. A bounce pass alley-oop? It took audacity just to think of it. And the execution was flawless.

The NBA posted this great video of commentators around the world reacting to the brilliant move. Headphones on, and marvel as you hear expressions of awe in Spanish, French, Arabic, Mandarin and Greek.

It's pretty funny stuff.

For the record, Team LeBron beat Team Giannis 178-164 in the All-Star game. But everyone will remember the moment more than the score.

Aussie Ben Simmons got his first taste of All-Star action in this game -- and the first for any Aussie -- chiming in for 10 points, six rebounds and seven assists in just 16 minutes on court.

He was also part of a remarkable comeback from LeBron's team, which was spectacular enough, but which didn't quite make the world's commentators go "Oooohhhh" in beautiful multi-linguistic unison.
