Incoming Bogeys! Trump Installs Golf Simulator In White House
Looks like there's going to be a par-tee every day in The Oval Office.
Donald Trump has installed a state-of-the-art golf simulator in The White House, the Washington Post reports.
The U.S. President, who is famous for driving a wedge between himself and his political enemies, is equally well known for his love of a relaxing 18 holes. Now he can play indoors too.
The simulator will allow President Trump to play virtual rounds at many of the world's great golf courses, simply by hitting a ball into a large video screen, The Post quoted two sources as saying.
This news has already spurred many to recall Trump's famous tweet in 2014, when he attacked President Obama for spending too much time driving golf balls instead of driving real change in the U.S. political system.
Ironically, Trump is said to have averaged around 70 rounds of golf a year during his presidency compared to the 38 of Barack Obama.
Interestingly, The White House also has a putting green. However, there is no bunker, and if anyone tells you there is, that's rake news.
