Tennis Star Mortified After Ballgirl Kills Bug On Court During Match

It's not uncommon for ballkids to be called on court to tend to stray a bug or two, but this was a little unexpected.

German tennis star Sabine Lisicki was noticeably horrified after a ballgirl stepped in at the Thai Open.

She was about to return serve against Spanish No. 1 seed Garbine Muguruza when an insect landed beside her.

Lisicki opted for a gentle approach, attempting to coax it onto her racquet. But the ballgirl who stepped in had something else in mind.

Running on the court, she stomped on the helpless bug with two firm feet.

Shocked, Lisicki winced and turned away before letting out a giggle.
