Tim Cahill's 28-Year-Old Teammate Banned For Claiming To Be 16
Just two months ago, Gourav Mukhi was celebrating becoming the youngest ever player to score in the Indian Super League.
Mukhi was the teenage sensation taking the Indian football world by storm.
His professional career started with a bang -- he scored two goals in a pre-season friendly in September for his new club Jamshedpur FC.
Mukhi even credited Aussie teammate Tim Cahill with helping him develop as a player.
"Tim motivated me a lot, he showed me his techniques which helped me score two goals," he told his club.
And then came Mukhi's professional debut in October, where at '16' he became the youngest scorer in the Indian Super League.
But all is not as it seemed-- as the impressive facial hair might have given away.

Following months of investigation, Mukhi has been revealed to be 28-years-old.
"The AIFF Disciplinary Committee found the player Gourav Mukhi guilty on the basis of the evidence presented by him, his admissions and the statements of Manager of U-16 AIFF academy in 2015," the All India Football Federation said in a statement.
"The AIFF Disciplinary Committee also observed that the existing registration of Gourav Mukhi, both in the Central Registration System (CRS) as well as the Competition Management System (CMS) shall stand cancelled and revoked with immediate effect, with liberty upon the player/his appropriate club, to submit original valid appropriate documents for fresh registration under CRS and CMS."
It's not the first time Mukhi has been creative with is age. He was called up to the Indian team for the Under-17 World Cup in 2015 before admitting being overage.
Mukhi has been suspended for six months.
