What you need to know
- Jeff Horn takes on Terence Crawford at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas at 1am (AEST) Sunday.
- He sat down down with Ten Eyewitness News for an exclusive chat.
Jeff Horn is raring to get into the ring, after setting up base in Las Vegas ahead of his title-defence fight against American Terence Crawford.
Just days out from the much-hyped clash, Ten Eyewitness News sat down with the Brisbane-born World Champion.
Training is stepping down for Horn and his focus is now on the mental side of things, blocking out the "noise" surrounding Sunday morning's fight.
"I just don't let any of that type of noise phase me, I just take it as it comes, take it on the chin," he said.
"I'm just very good at not stressing about the small stuff, and all this stuff is the small stuff. The fight is the thing I have to worry about."
Horn believes his strength lies in his unique style, which he said "can work against anyone," but he has been studying his opponent.
"I know Terrence likes to go backwards a bit and counter-fight, but if he hurts you he likes to come forward and take your head off," he said.
But Horn believes he has a few tricks up his sleeve to get the win.
And those judging the win, will be a panel consisting of an Australian, Italian and American judge -- but Horn doesn't think there will be any favours given.
"I don't think of the judges and go 'oh!' because they are Australian they are going to judge for me, or because they are American they are going to judge for him," he said.
"I think they are going to judge the fight on how they see the fight."
Ten Eyewitness News will be exclusively following Jeff Horn as he sets out defend his World Champion Title.
