Two Dead After Stabbing Attack In Suburban Sydney
A street in Sydney's south-west has been locked down after an alleged stabbing attack during a neighbourhood dispute on Tuesday afternoon.
NSW police said officers were called to a unit in the suburb of Cartwright just after 4pm, where they found a man and a woman suffering serious injuries.
Paramedics desperately tried to save the man who had suffered stab wounds, but he died at the scene.
The woman, who has also suffered serious stab wounds, was rushed to hospital in a critical condition but has since died.
A second man has since been arrested and is assisting police with their inquiries at Liverpool Police Station as detectives commence an investigation.
More to come.
