Teenage Girl Found With Major Slash Wound Across Her Face
Two teenagers are in hospital after a fight broke out between them on Sunday.
Police were called to a fight on Flushcombe Road in Blacktown in Sydney's west at about 10pm and found an 18-year-old woman who was badly injured.
She had a 10 centimetre-long wound to her forehead and cuts across her face. She was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital for further care.
Police set up a crime scene as part of their investigations. Their inquiries led them to a 17-year-old woman who was arrested at a nearby shopping centre.
She was taken to Blacktown Hospital to be treated for cuts on her hands. She is currently under police guard.
Police plan to speak to the pair regarding the incident when they are both deemed well enough to do so.
Police are also asking for anyone with any information about the incident between the two women to come forward.
