Man Allegedly Assaulted On Highway In Road Rage Attack
A driver has allegedly been assaulted by two men on the side of a Sydney motorway in a road rage attack.
Police have been told another motorist became angry when the male driver, 29, stopped for an amber light at the intersection of the Pacific Highway and the M1 about 6.40pm on Monday.
Both cars pulled into an emergency bay on the M1 at Wahroonga and the drivers got out.
The 29-year-old told police he was punched to the ground and kicked by two men from the other car before a passing motorist intervened.
The injured driver, from the NSW Central Coast, was taken to hospital with facial injuries and bruises.
Police are looking for the two men from the other car. They are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage of the incident.
