Cops Release Image Of Man Suspected Of Elderly Lady Dog Poo Punch

An elderly woman was knocked unconscious Monday in an altercation over a dog at Sandgate, in northern Brisbane.

The 68-year-old woman was walking along the Sandgate Foreshore about 25 kilometres north of Brisbane.

She asked a man walking a grey American Staffy to clean up his dog's poo after it defecated nearby.

The man responded to the request by allegedly spitting on the woman and punching her in the face, causing her to lose consciousness and collapse on the ground.

On Friday police released a computer-generated image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man suspected of the crime is in his 30s, with olive skin and a caucasian appearance. He's about 180 centimetres tall and was wearing a yellow top and dark pants. He was last seen walking with his dog towards Second Avenue.

Police are seeking information , CCTV or dashcam footage from the public to assist them with their investigation into the incident.
