Police Hunting Man Who Has Been Exposing Himself To Women and Children
A man, believed to be aged in his twenties, has been exposing himself to women in the Eastern Brisbane suburb of Carina since September last year.
Police have asked for public assistance to locate the man after the incidents have escalated over the past two months.
It is alleged the man has exposed himself to 10 women since September, however six of the incidents have occurred in the last two months, including an occasion whereby a woman was touched inappropriately by the man and another occasion where the man exposed himself to a woman with her three children.
Police have said in a statement that majority of the incidents have taken place on Wednesdays and Fridays, between 5.30pm and 6.30pm. All of the incidents have happened in Carina with the man being sighted on the following streets:
- Nyrang Street
- Adelaide Street
- Mayfield Road
- Wattle Avenue
- Waratah Avenue
- Booligal Street
- Willard Street
- Hecklemann Street
- Murchison Street
- Maranoa Street
St Martin's Primary School, San Sisto College as well as a council playground and library are located on a street the man has been spotted on.
The man has been described as being around 174 centimetres tall with short, dark hair.
Police are increasing their patrols of the area and have asked for residents or businesses in the area with CCTV of a man fitting that description to come forward.
