Father Faces Murder Charge Over Daughter Found Dead In Car
A 49-year-old man faces a charge of murder after his daughter was found dead in a car in suburban Adelaide.
Police had been looking for the Mercedes Benz vehicle on Sunday night after concerns were raised about the pair. Just after 11.30pm that night, officers located the vehicle in Kidman Park.
They found the man in the car, conscious but with a serious injury to his abdomen, while the 20-year-old woman, later named as the man's daughter Sabrina, was dead.
The injured man was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remains under police guard. On Wednesday, police applied for a Warrant of Remand for the charge of murder. A bedside hearing with the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court is scheduled for Friday.
Sabrina was studying a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) at University of South Australia and had previously completed studies in Classical Piano Performance, also at UniSA.
She's remembered as a gifted student and talented pianist who was kind and funny.
