Two On The Run After 'Chaotic' Targeted Double Stabbing

Police are scrambling to find two people linked to a stabbing that left two young men seriously injured early on Saturday morning.

One man is in a critical condition, having suffered a number of extensive wounds, and another is in a serious condition after the alleged attack in Chippendale, in central Sydney.

Police believe the stabbing was "targeted" and linked to a personal issue between the men, who are all known to each other.

Emergency services rushed to a home on Shepherd Street around 8.40am on Saturday, after reports of a stabbing. Both victims are aged in their 20s.

"Officers from Redfern Police Area Command are seeking at least two males who were last seen running along Daniels Street towards Buckland Street around 8.30am," police said.

"Both were last seen wearing dark hooded tops."

A police spokesperson called the scene "chaotic" in a press conference.
