'Significant' Street Shooting Incident Leaves Three Injured

Multiple people have been shot in a Brisbane street on Saturday morning.

Emergency services rushed to Sunnybank Hills in outer Brisbane at about 7.20 am after residents reported shots and screaming coming from a nearby home.

A man and a woman were found inside a home on Goman Street with gunshot wounds and were rushed to Princess Alexandria Hospital for treatment.

The man, aged in his 30s, is currently in a critical condition after suffering several chest wounds, while the woman, also in her 30s, sustained a leg injury. She remains in a stable condition.

Queensland Ambulance said a third person was also taken to hospital, however, it's still unclear if they were also shot.

A black BMW was seen leaving the scene following the shooting. Police tracked it to the nearby suburb of Doolandella where they arrested one man at Fred Pham Crescent.

Crime scenes have been established Goman Street and Fred Pham Crescent.

Police were unable to provide any further details at this time.
