Security Footage Captures Thieves Smash Through Shopfronts With Cars

Police have released dramatic footage of two ram-raids targeting businesses in the ACT this week.

On Thursday police said a Repco store in Greenway was ram-raided just after 3:30am.

It is alleged three offenders used a dark coloured Toyota Hilux to smash through the automotive supplier's glass doors.

CCTV footage shows the hooded men begin to place items from the store in the ute's tray.

About half-an-hour later, officers said two males used a small hatchback to force entry into a Domino's Pizza in Weston.

The men can be seen using the front of the car to partially open the fast-food restaurant's doors, before smashing through the glass to gain access.
