Police Showcase 'Treasure Trove' Of Stolen Jewellery

Brisbane police have released photos of a 'treasure trove' of jewellery that they believe was stolen from homes during multiple burglaries.

Officers from the Gateway Property Crime Team have released an online gallery so that owners can identify their property amongst the rings, necklaces and bracelets.

The jewellery was discovered during a burglary investigation in Stafford in Brisbane's north.

The officers discovered more than 100 pieces of jewellery and foreign currency.

The items are believed to have been stolen from properties across north Brisbane in the past six months.
