Harriet Wran Arrested Over Drug Possession

The daughter of former NSW Labor Premier Neville Wran has been arrested for drug possession.

Harriet Wran was arrested at Wyong on the NSW central coast at 1:30am on Wednesday morning, after officers allegedly noticed her and a male acting suspiciously at a service station.

"When officers approached the vehicle, a male passenger ran from the car. Police spoke with the driver, a 30-year-old woman, before conducting a search of her and the vehicle," NSW Police said in a statement.

"Officers located and seized a number of laptops, mobile phones and credit cards, along with a large amount of mail. The items are alleged to be stolen."

"Police also located drug paraphernalia and a small quantity of crystal substance, believed to be prohibited drugs."

The woman was granted bail and is due to appear at Wyong Local Court on April 3.
