Police Hunt 'Donut Kings' Who Stole 96 Pastries, Chocolate And A Toothbrush
Victoria Police are hunting two men dubbed the 'Donut Kings' after they stole nearly 100 of the ring-shaped pastry from a service station.
Victoria Police say the incident occurred at about 11.30 pm on January 13 at Southbank in Melbourne.
The two men entered the store together and both stood at the counter while one paid for a can of corn.
Once the first man paid for the corn, the second man swiftly grabbed a box containing 96 donuts and ran from the shop.
It's also believed the two men stole some chocolate and a toothbrush.
Police say the stolen items are worth $136. The first man is said to be aged in his late 30s or early 40s and the second man is in his 30s.
Police are appealing for information regarding the pair, telling the public to "forget the hamburglar, we're looking for the donut kings".
