Man Charged With 'Large-Scale' Grocery Theft

The man allegedly targeted a number of outlets across Sydney.

Earlier this month, officers from Redfern Region Enforcement Squad conducted Operation Lightfingers targeting shoplifting offences throughout a number of major retail outlets across Sydney CBD, Broadway, Redfern and Bondi Junction.

Following inquiries into the large-scale theft of food items, officers executed a search warrant at a grocery store on Railway Parade, Banksia, about 12pm on Thursday.
