Missing Toddler Found After Massive Search On Rural Victoria Property
UPDATE: A four-year-old boy has been found after missing on his family's property in rural Victoria.
A massive search was underway for the boy in the state's East Gippsland after he disappeared on his family's rural property on Saturday.
He had last been seen around 1.30pm on Saturday, at his family's property at Waterholes, in the state's east, with a huge search -- including more than 200 police, the air wing unit, dog squad, water police and Australian Defence Force personnel -- mounted.
On Sunday, Victoria Police issued a desperate advisory, asking people on social media to "like and share" their post "to give it maximum coverage."
However, just after 2pm on Sunday, police said they had thankfuly found the boy.
"The toddler was located just after 1pm after he had been missing for nearly 24 hours. He is expected to be reunited with his family shortly and will also be assessed by paramedics," Victoria Police said.
The force's Twitter acount said "with much relief" they had located him "safe and well".
