Man And Woman Charged After Alleged School Bus Attack
Police have laid charges against two people after a teenager was allegedly attacked on a bus in Sydney on Wednesday.
Police allege a 20-year-old man boarded a bus in Lane Cove, in Sydney's north shore, on Wednesday after a minor crash between his BMW and the bus.
The man allegedly approached a 15-year-old student on the bus and hit him in the face, and also allegedly threatened a 13-year-old. Police say the man then fled the scene.
The 15-year-old was bruised following the alleged attack, allegedly sustaining a cut near his eye and a chipped tooth.
Police were were called to the scene on Burns Bay Road at about 6pm Wednesday.
A 20-year-old man handed himself into police around 6pm Thursday. He was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault, affray, not give way to bus and failing to exchange particulars.
A 19-year-old woman was charged with affray in relation to the alleged bus incident.
The pair were granted conditional bail and will front Hornsby Local Court on December 12.
