Four-Year-Old Flown To Hospital After Being Crushed By Water Tank
A toddler on the NSW Mid North Coast has been rushed to hospital after her legs were crushed by a water tank that fell on top of her on Saturday morning.
NSW Ambulance were called to a property near Port Macquarie where they found the four-year-old with injuries to her legs.
Paramedics said they treated the young girl for a femur fracture before taking her to Port Macquarie Hospital.
She was later airlifted by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
It's unclear exactly how the incident occurred but a NSW Ambulance spokesperson said the water tank was believed to be between 400-800 litres in size.
