'No Sign' Of Missing Swimmer As Search Enters Third Day
A search for a man missing off the NSW far south coast will continue after authorities so far uncovered no sign of the 42-year-old swimmer.
The Victorian man went for a run followed by a swim at the isolated Gillards Beach in the Mimosa Rocks National Park, near Tathra, on Wednesday.
Emergency workers were called about 5.30pm after the man didn't return from his swim and his twin brother found his belongings on the beach.
A search involving water police, State Emergency Service volunteers, surf lifesavers and the police helicopter was called off on Thursday night, but is expected to resume on Friday morning.
