Two schoolgirls are in hospital after taking MDMA with classmates while on camp in the Victorian snowfields.
One of the girls overdosed on the drug which she and five other students from a central Victorian high school allegedly took while camping at Mount Buller on Friday, police said.
The teenager was taken to Wangaratta Hospital, Nine News reported, also speaking to the school principal.
"We take this matter extremely seriously. As soon as staff became aware of the incident, police and emergency services were called," the principal told the TV network.
Police arrested a 17-year-old boy from central Victoria who is expected to be charged with trafficking a drug of dependence.
