Grandfather Reunited With Beloved Bird After Truck Stolen
UPDATE: Dollie has been returned to Trevor!
Trevor isn't concerned with his truck right now, just getting back his beloved bird Dollie.
Dollie, the rainbow lorikeet, was in her cage in the back seat of Trevor Harrison's 2016 white Ford Ranger when it was stolen last night outside a North Rockhampton home.
Trevor had Dollie for 12 years and posted on his Facebook page that he was very concerned for the welfare of his pet.
According to Trevor's granddaughter Sophie, her grandparents are on a trip around Australia, travelling with Dollie.
In a plea on Facebook, Sophie said that Dollie is "reasonably tame but not a fan of anyone except pop".
Sophie encouraged local residents around Rockhampton to keep an eye out for truck with a NSW registration plate: DFL04S.
