Urgent Recall On Turkey Over Allergy Fears, Incorrect Packaging

Customers are being warned of a recall of a Ingham's turkey product, after food authorities found it had been incorrectly packaged as a different product containing different allergens.

The NSW Food Authority issued the recall of Ingham's Turkey Thigh Roast product on Wednesday, finding some products had been incorrectly packaged as Turkey Breast Roast on Wednesday.

The incorrect packaging has resulted in milk as an undisclosed allergen, NSW Food Authority said in a statement.

The recall affects Ingham's Turkey Breast Roast, one kilogram cardboard box with a best before date of October 1, 2020.

The product has been available for sale since March 3, 2019, in Woolworths stores in NSW, ACT, Victoria, SA and NT.
