Police Desperate To Return Service Medals Ahead Of ANZAC Day

Just days before ANZAC Day, police have taken to social media in the hopes of finding the owner of four service medals found in Adelaide.

The medals were found lying on the roadway at the intersection of Mawson Lakes Boulevard and Trinity Circuit, Mawson Lakes at 8pm last Friday.

They include the Australian Active Service Medal, Afghanistan Medal, Australian Defence Medal and NATO Medal ISAF.

"It would be fantastic to return these found service medals to their rightful owner," police said.

The owner is yet to report the valuable awards missing.
