Perth DJ Arrested In The U.S. For Allegedly Trying To Snatch A Toddler

Roscoe Holyoake, known by the stage name DJ Roski, has been arrested in San Francisco after allegedly attempting to snatch a two-year-old boy in daylight as he walked with his mother.

According to reports Holyoake, 34,  allegedly attempted to abduct the child from the sidewalk around noon outside of a restaurant in the Castro district.

The child's mother was holding his hand at the time and struggled when Holyoake took the child in his arms and attempted to escape.

A witness at the scene described to KTVU how the DJ gave up the alleged kidnapping rapidly and gave the child back to his mother then "turned and smiled at us and took off running down the street".

People who had seen the incident unfold chased Holyoake for several blocks before he simply stopped and allowed himself to be arrested.
