Four QLD Children Believed Abducted Have Been Found Safe

UPDATE: The four kids subject to an amber alert on Friday afternoon have been located safe and well.

Earlier police began a desperate search for four children who were believed to have been taken from East Ipswitch on Friday afternoon.

Police were searching for the children and Shane Perry, 37, who was believed to have been seen dragging one of the children into a silver Commodore just after 3:30pm.

Perry is known to the children but is not their father.

A five-year-old boy was seen being dragged into the car before a 13-year-old and 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were coerced into also getting in, police said.

They were last seen being taken from Joyce Street at East Ipswitch.

The group were believed to be travelling in a silver Commodore with New South Wales registration ARV50A and may be in Slacks Creek, Springwood, Logan  or making their way interstate.
