Charlie The Dog And His Owners Rescued From Burning Yacht
A Victorian couple and their dog, Charlie were rescued from the burning yacht off the coast of Queensland.
Police were alerted a yacht on fire south-west of Moreton Island, at about 5.30am on Friday.
A man, 64, and a woman, 53, who lived on the boat with Charlie the Jack Russell escaped the blaze on a tender.

The fire was extinguished by Queensland Fire and Emergency with assistance from police.
The couple, originally from Victoria, and Charlie were all uninjured and were transported to the Brisbane Water Police facility.
The cause of the fire is not considered suspicious and investigations are ongoing, Queensland Police said.

Acting Senior Sergeant Jay Bairstow, Officer in Charge Brisbane Water Police said those hitting the water over the Easter break should be "well-prepared".
“Water Police would like to give a timely reminder for all boaties to check their vessel is in a safe and operational condition, ensure they have the required safety equipment,” said Bairstow.
“Communicate their travel details so people know where you are and when you are expected to return."
