Two Women Run Over By Car In Bunnings Carpark

An accident in a busy car park left an elderly woman seriously injured and her daughter pinned under a vehicle.

It's believed the mother and daughter were standing together in the carpark of a Bunnings Warehouse store in Katoomba, NSW, when they were hit by a reversing vehicle.

The daughter, 65, was trapped under a vehicle for about 90 minutes, CareFlight confirmed, sustaining injuries to her head, legs and arms.

A team of paramedics, police rescue and NSW Fire and Rescue worked to free the woman, before she was transported to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Her mother, 89, sustained injuries to the leg, and was flown by helicopter to Westmead Hospital.
