Suspicious Package Delivered To Gladys Berejiklian's Martin Place Office
A CBD Sydney street has reopened after a suspicious package was seized at the NSW Premier's office.
Police on Tuesday morning said they were responding to reports of a suspicious package at an office in Sydney's CBD.
The office block, located in Martin Place, is where Berejiklian's office is located.
The package, which was a small envelope containing white powder, was addressed to the Premier's office.
Part of the street, right by a busy train station and the Sydney offices of Channel 7, was shut down by authorities and 25 people were evacuated from the building.
After being seized by police, the substance was tested and found to be non-toxic.
It does not appear Gladys Berejiklian was in the building at the time.
The street reopened around midday after authorities completed their investigation at the scene.
