Toddler Dies After Being Hit By Car At Caravan Park

A toddler has died after being hit by a car at a caravan park on the NSW south coast, while a woman has died in a nearby lake in what police say is an unrelated incident.

A 17-month-old girl was struck by a vehicle and died at the scene at Lake Conjola just after 3.40pm on Saturday, police say.

The driver, a man aged in his 30s, has been taken to Milton Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.

Meanwhile, a woman died after she fell off a boat and was then struck by the same vessel, also at Lake Conjola.

Emergency servies were called to a boat ramp on Killarney Road at Lake Conjola just before 4pm on Saturday after the woman fell from the boat.

Members of the public performed CPR on the 28-year-old woman after she was brought to the boat ramp, but she died at the scene.

The boat's skipper, a man believed to be in his late 20s, is uninjured and will undergo mandatory blood and urine testing at hospital.

Reports will be prepared for the coroner for each incident, police say.
