Massive Search Underway For Missing Mum In Remote WA Outback
A massive land and air search is now in its third day for missing hiker Felicity Shadbolt near Tom Price in the remote West Australian outback.
The 36-year-old didn't return from her walk on Sunday, which sparked the search operation in Mount Nameless.
Police officers, SES volunteers, a local helicopter, along with the local Pony Club are scouring the area.
The Tom Price local is described as being 150-155cm tall, with a slim build and blonde hair that was braided in two ponytails.
She is believed to be wearing blue pants and a black t-shirt and has a light blue CamelBak water pack.
The area is extremely hot, with temperatures soaring to 42 degrees on Tuesday.
The search was suspended yesterday after thunderstorms struck and rescuers are now working against the clock, with more storms to hit the area this afternoon, continuing into tomorrow.
Anyone who sees Felicity should contact police on 131 444.
