WATCH: Students Screamed For Help While Pinned To Roof After School Bus Overturned
Twenty-five students were catapulted into the air after their bus lost control and flipped over, injuring eight people in the US state of Ohio.
Dramatic footage released by the Ohio State Patrol on Tuesday shows the students calmly sitting on the bus before they're launched into the air and pinned to the roof, screaming for help.
The Northern Local Schools bus collided with a 1996 Ford Mustang, after the driver failed to stop at a red light intersection in Perry County in December, KRON 4 reports.
Amidst the panic, the 74-year-old bus driver calmly ordered kids to exit through windows if they were able to do so.
Eight students and the bus driver were later transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to KRON 4.
Police said the 42-year-old driver of the Mustang had a suspended license at the time of the crash and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
